I was so worried they hadn't received it because we weren't getting any updates - I thought once I was approved as sponsor I was then supposed to be putting the client number and HIS last name, birthdate, etc and check that way. I only just realized the PR status update was NEXT to the sponsor status when I entered my details. I could have saved myself a lot of worrying! Doh!
Ja, you probably won't get his file number unless you contact them and they actually get back to you or until they send a PPR / document request etc. London doesn't seem to send out AORs like some of the others.

If all goes well, I would assume that your application would process quicker than mine since you're married already - I think you get bumped ahead in line for that, am I right? It must be terrible being away from not only your wife but a son as well, I hope that everything goes through smoothly!

We've been comparing our timeline to the fastest one we've seen from London, which took 111 days, so we're thinking we probably shouldn't look for an update until early March. Thank God that February is a short month, ha ha!

Edited - meant to ask, why do you think they'll request another police clearance? How long are the clearances valid for?
Hi there i am in the same boat.

I am also going through the waiting game at the moment. I live in London and my husband in Canada. We have very similar processing times for London.

Application recd in CIC- MISS- 17 Nov 2008
Sponsor Approved- 12th Dec 2009
Application Rec in London and Processing Started-16 Jan 2009
That's fast!Thumbsup
With regards to Police clearance its valid for 6 months but CIC should have it within the first three months. So im hoping i wont be asked to do one again. The wait is killing! though the weather today was pleasant!

We all seem to have the same sorta time line will be interesting to see what happens.

Keep sharing your updates.
Hey everyone. Just wanted to give you an update. 2nd Feb ECAS updated mine to "medicals received and decision made." I am expecting a letter now so I should think you should hear real soon as well!
Yaay! I hope the approval comes in really quick! I'm rooting for you!
Longtimeapart! Fantastic news! good stuff! No updates on my side as of yet, will have to wait another week now. Keep us posted!
