Someone using the e-CAS tracker emailed me to ask if I knew anything about this. I don't, and was wondering if anyone here does.

It seems that CPC-M has rolled-back their "processing appliations up to" date for family class sponsorships.

On that page, it says January 7th. However, my records of the processing times show that they had actually updated it twice since then, and on Feb 25th it was saying Jan 26th. See the bottom of the table here:

Any ideas what's going on? Haiti?

Matthew
I believe it is due to their expediting humanitarian applications from the Haiti disaster.
That would make sense, but I wonder why the "up to" date would go backwards. It makes me wonder how CIC works in terms of posting those updates. One theory would be they actually update the "processing up to" date when they start a batch of applications rather than when they finish them. If they had processed some of the apps from "Jan 19th" and "Jan 26th" piles, but then pulled the IOs off working on those files to work on expedited Haiti applications, it might make sense to roll the "up to" date back to the end of the last complete batch, in this case "Jan 7th".

I'm just speculating, really.
Hi... Until.. i think... yesterday or Friday, they had the "processing up to date" for stay extensions at Jan 1st. Mine arrived there Jan 4th. I got my results on Friday.

You may be right about them posting the "Start" of the batch.
