Hi! I am new here, I am Nerdygirl originally from Europe. I was guided to this forum by Rob's Luv. I am aiming to apply for a PR with an outland application. See more information below:
I am on WP in Canada, and my WP is expiring in two weeks and I asked my employer if they want me to apply for an extension for my WP and they said no. I am applying for a PR in April in sponsor class, as then I have lived with my boyfriend for a year and officially common-law partners. However, now my employer asked if I want to do work on contractor basis for their main office in the US. Does anyone know if I can work as a European for an American company while I am in Canada as a visitor? I don't want to break any laws or anything... Where would I pay the taxes?
