so i need fingerprints from every country?
Holy crap also from Germany , India and Canada.
How i get for example the fingerprints from Canada in the meanwhile i stay here in India?
Can i just put my fingerprints on the police clearance form what i already got and send it back to them? I already got my German police check , translated of course but without fingerprints.
It is a bit expensive to fly back to Germany and Canada just to get the fingerprints. Or can i go to the High court of Germany , Canada to get it done.
I am a bit confused about the fingerprints.
Is it really necessary to have and send these prints???????????

I want to apply from out-site , here in New Delhi , but i am a German citizen.

If you have lived for more than 6 months in those counties - then yes, you need police certificates from them

I know i need the police reports from all these country's , but will i need the fingerprints as well????? You get a police clearance without fingerprints too.
I am a German citizen who lives right now here in India. ( married to Canadian citizen ).

So born in Germany ( lived there until 27 age )
Lived for 2 in half years in Canada Edmonton
Still living in New Delhi until June 2009 ( longer than 6 months)


How i get my fingerprints done for the Canadian Police check?????????

You need police checks for those countries - some will do them without fingerprints, some won't.

You don't need to get one for Canada - CIC will request/do it, if there is a hit on your name - then they'll want fingerprints

Since you have your check from Germany, and you are waiting on India - looks like you are good to go once your India one comes in

Perfect that gives me hope , i just was freaking out about the fingerprints.
I am not a criminal , i never was.
so that means , i don't need a police clearance from Canada self if i lived there for 2 in half years????? weird????
Otherwise is not a problem for me to get it done.
The only thing is , the Indians they're need for everything here longer as usual.
Hopefully not so long , otherwise i have to do it all again ( 3. months request ) immigration.

I am a bit confusing , somebody says you only need the fingerprints if the immigration asking for it , during the process.????????
I mean they check anyways my fact's trough the computer system.

You need to submit, with your application, a criminal clearance from every country (except Canada) that you have resided in for more than 6 months since turning 18 years of age. If you don't, they'll delay processing of your application to ask you to get the clearances. Most criminal clearance requests require that you send your fingerprints to the law enforcement agency in the country so they can do a search to see if you have a criminal record. There is specific information in your Region Specific forms about how to get clearances for all the different countries. The criminal clearances (or "no arrest" records) are valid for six months, but need to be submitted with the ap before they are 3 months old.

You do not have to submit a criminal clearance for Canada upfront - the visa office will do an RCMP name check for you first, and if that comes up with "hits", they will send you the paperwork you need to get a fingerprint clearance done. If you are in Canada this is a very quick and easy digital process.

If i do the out site thing , than i will and have to live with it.
( no open work permit ).
Otherwise the immigration process ( out site )will be going on faster then the in site process , that's what i heard.

Yes, the outside process is much faster than inland. New Delhi is finalizing in 2-6 months, plus about 24 days right now for the sponsorship approval at CPC-Mississauga. The inside process takes 6-7 months just to get to first stage approval and your work permit, and then it's another 6-12 months to finalization.

The dates for submitting the police certs, relative to when they were issued, are not hard and fast (went well over three months on mine before submitting with the app, no problem).

The duration of their validity can be country specific; most do not have a "validity" duration, as for most they represent the status of records on the date they were issued. The period of time within which CIC will consider them sufficient can be a different matter, different from the validity. Moreover, there are hints that CIC is particularly soft on the dates if the police cert is from a country one has not been in since before the issuance of the cert (not at all sure just how flexible they might be on this -- as with many of these matters, it can depend extensively on the person, other factors, other considerations, including the country involved as well as factors related to the individual).

To be clear, reinforcing what has been said: it is the police cert you need for CIC. What you need from the specific countries for which you need a police cert depends in large part on their rules and regulations; many do require fingerprints, some requiring only that the fingerprints meet certain specifications, including specific requirements as to who took the fingerprints, while others require the fingerprints be submitted on their forms.
